Dear Brother, Dear Sister, Dear Friend,
As I write the final pages of this book, I find myself overwhelmed by the many blessings that fill my life with joy and meaning. I am thankful to my family for loving me no matter what. I thank my parents for showing me that true purpose is rooted in self-sacrificing love, and I thank my sisters for being my strongest allies. This book would not exist without the love, support, and practical help of my family. I am grateful for friends who make me laugh and always have my back. I am thankful for the teachers who opened my eyes to the power of literature, the demands of justice, and the importance of truth. I am thankful for young people everywhere whose courage inspires me to keep going. And most of all, I thank God for giving us life, carrying us through the storms, and lighting the path to a better world.
